The American Common Sense Movement ... The Time Has Come For Every American to Become an Educated Voter!

Let's Take Action

This website was designed to:

  • bring all Americans together (regardless of race or political affiliation), give us one unified voice, and help us focus the frustration we have with our elected officials in a positive, peaceful, and constructive direction!
  • put Congress on notice (our 535 “hired” employees) that they can either shape up and become Common Sense elected officials (managers) immediately, or be fired at their next election review!
  • encourage those members of Congress who are actually trying to make a difference to stand up and be counted, identify themselves and call out their dead-beat colleagues, so we know who to keep and who to fire!

Where to Start

1. Start with 20 Reforms to Fix America. There you’ll find at least one Common Sense solution to each of 20 major problems that Congress refuses to fix. Pick one that interests you the most. Read how I would fix the problem, then start thinking really hard about how you would fix the problem if you were in charge. In other words, what guidelines would you give our managers up on Capitol Hill to help them fix the problem?

Remember, they’re not our leaders (like they think). They’re our managers; they work for us! We hired them and we sure as hell can fire them! I don’t expect you to agree with all of the solutions I’ve offered, but hopefully you agree with most of them, and hopefully you come up with some even better solutions.

2. Now get the word out on social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, everywhere! Let the world know how you feel the problems should be fixed. Let’s get a constructive dialog going all over social media. If we want to get the attention of our managers up on Capitol Hill, we have to make things go viral.

Ask your friends to respond to your tweet, your Facebook post, etc. with their viewpoints and their solutions to fix the problems. Blow up social media with solutions to each and every one of the 20 problems I’ve listed. You may even come up with some problems that I’ve missed, so put them out there too.

3. Next, learn what the American Bi-Political Party's Common Sense Movement is all about.  You’ll find out how to become a Common Sense voter, how to become a part of the world’s largest peaceful revolution, and even how to run for political office as a Common Sense Democrat or a Common Sense Republican, if you so choose.

4. Check out How to Get Started by Fixing Congress where we encourage sending a message to Congress and advocating to set up a National Campaign Information Website (NCIW) to make it easier to find out about the candidates we’re about to hire. Don’t forget to take a look at Smaller Government, Less Taxes and “Taxes, Taxes, and More Taxes”, written by Charley Reese for the Orlando Sentinel.

Next, click on Our Founding Father and The Philosopher Plato to see what they have to say, and don't forget to view the slideshow Grade Your Congressperson which gives more insight into the National Campaign Information Website.
